Buying a home is one of the most expensive purchases you will ever make and yet many buyers are doing so blind.

Ask yourself this question: Would you ever buy second hand car without checking the service history or lifting the bonnet?

The consequences of not carrying out a property survey can be disastrous. Your new home could have hidden flaws leading to unplanned expense, hassle and stress.

A home survey will provide the buyer with much more information on the state of the property and any work that will need to be carried out” (RICS, 2015). If major defects are uncovered in your survey you might want to reconsider your purchase or you could be in a position to renegotiate the price.

Miller Metcalfe Surveyors are all members of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).  They combine wide-ranging experience and have expertise in your local area. Our Surveyors deliver the most trusted property reports available, providing you with peace of mind by eliminating a minefield of complications and insecurities.

Our Experience is your Assurance….

A Mortgage Valuation is NOT a Survey:

Mortgage Valuations are instructed by your lender. A Mortgage Valuation Report provides limited information which varies depending on the criteria of each Lender. The report advises on the suitability of the property for lending purposes only. Your lender may or may not provide you with a copy of this valuation.

When you instruct a Survey with Miller Metcalfe, you are our customer, our commitment is with you. We will provide a thorough inspection and in-depth report to assist in your decision to purchase your property.
